What you will do

• Conduct investigations into high-risk activity, platform abuse, and suspicious financial movement.
• Analyze complex datasets to make confident, risk-mitigated determinations.
• Manage operational queues, escalations, and dispute resolution processes.
• Apply deep knowledge of money movement mechanics including ACH, Card Rails, and RTP.
• Communicate data trends and actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Utilize tools like SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau to surface meaningful fraud signals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 1–3 years of experience in fraud operations, financial crimes, or risk management.
• Solid understanding of money movement mechanics and consumer regulations (Reg E, NACHA, Reg Z).
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or Tableau.
• Investigative mindset capable of assessing complex cases and making sound decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with fraud monitoring tools such as Alloy, Sardine, Sift, or Unit21.
• Prior background in fintech, payments, lending, or embedded finance.
• Familiarity with chargeback workflows and dispute resolution.
