Salary: $5,365.42 - $7,709.92 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Coordinate day-to-day CanProCo Epidemiology Pillar activities, including work planning, timelines, budget management, deliverables, and communication across 5 academic MS sites and the central study team.
- Support protocol development, amendments, and operational documentation for the Epidemiology Pillar.
- Manage data access and linkage activities, including applications to Population Data BC, Health Data Platform BC, and related bodies.
- Evaluate, design, and coordinate inter- and trans-disciplinary grant and research proposals, including letters of intent, background documentation, ethics submissions, and program rationales.
- Coordinate grant application development and manage grant finances (forecasts, monitoring expenditures, reconciliations, and internal/external expense reporting).
- Support dissemination work including conference presentations, academic manuscripts, and technical reports; contribute to research rounds and special projects/events.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to work with ethical standards, including confidentiality of sensitive data and ensuring informed consent and required ethics approvals.
- Detail-oriented approach with effective oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Computer experience required.
Nice to have
- University degree in Health Sciences or relevant discipline plus 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience in epidemiology with a micro/health economics background; research and statistical analysis in basic epidemiology.
- Experience with publications, grant writing, and preparation of data access requests.
- Experience with qualitative research methods.
