• Oversee daily repair operations to ensure they run efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Administer the company safety program, conduct audits, and foster a safety-first culture.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices, handling performance management and discipline.
• Collaborate with regional repair coordinators to manage backlogs and update schedules.
• Analyze system reports to monitor job status, billable hours, and operational efficiencies.
• Maintain expert knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience managing at a branch departmental level.
• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
• Ability to write professional reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Must be located in or around Washington, DC or College Park, MD.
