What you will do

  • Own the month-end GL close, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 and deferred revenue schedules.
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections for US and international customers to reduce DSO.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions across US, French, and UK entities.
  • Handle sales tax collection and remittance via Avalara.
  • Coordinate and support the external audit process.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and People Ops to align accounting with business operations.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or public accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Strong foundation in GL accounting, multi-entity close, and reconciliations.
  • Experience managing the full AR cycle and invoicing.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Must be based on the US East Coast.

Nice to have

  • CPA or CPA-track qualification.
  • Experience with Maxio, Avalara, Salesforce, Ironclad, QBO, or Rillet.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and FX management.
  • Experience supporting an external audit.
