Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Michigan). Expected to work in office Tuesday to Thursday in Grand Rapids, Detroit, or Big Rapids.

What you will do

• Define project scope, schedules, and cost estimates for capital natural gas construction projects.
• Coordinate specialist teams to deliver engineering specifications and design documentation.
• Manage project expenditures, labor procurement, and conduct supplier evaluations.
• Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
• Interface with internal organizations, plants, and trade labor unions to align expectations.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management.
• Must be able to work in office (Tuesday to Thursday) in Grand Rapids, Detroit, or Big Rapids, MI.
• Ability to travel to various project sites across Michigan.
• Proficiency in scheduling and financial tools such as Excel, Primavera, MS Project, SAP, and Maximo.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience in natural gas or road right of way design and construction.
• Previous operations experience within the Utility industry.
