Risk Business Partner (Enterprise Risk): Shaping risk understanding and embedding enterprise risk management across a transformative UK telecommunications organisation with an accent on trusted stakeholder partnerships, risk governance, and translating complex data into clear narratives. Focus on facilitating risk workshops, leading second-line deep dives, and building a proactive, inclusive risk culture through training, communications, and coaching.
Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month.

What you will do
- Build trusted relationships with First Line leaders, providing guidance and constructive challenge on risk matters.
- Embed the Enterprise Risk Management Framework into day-to-day work and support consistent risk practices.
- Facilitate workshops that help teams explore, understand, and prioritise risks.
- Translate complex risk data into clear reports and narratives for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Lead second-line initiatives and deep dives, and help shape governance forums and decision-making.
- Develop risk culture through training, communications, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience in risk management, ideally in telecommunications or financial services.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk principles, including risk appetite, KRIs, and risk assessment approaches.
- Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model.
- Ability to build relationships, communicate complex ideas clearly, and provide constructive challenge.
- Confidence working through ambiguity and facilitating inclusive stakeholder discussions.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint, with strong attention to detail and integrity.
