What you will do

• Own the core positioning and primary narrative for the broader product story.
• Analyze technical products and complex markets to uncover resonant messaging across personas.
• Set the function's quality bar through world-class editing, feedback, and coaching.
• Build and manage the product marketing roadmap, including deliverables and timelines.
• Create working rhythms connecting marketing to sales, partnerships, and product.
• Hire and grow the PMM team by defining and evaluating required talent.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years specifically in product marketing.
• Experience operating as the sole PMM or leading the function, including strategic planning.
• Proven ability to build high-level narratives for technical B2B products.
• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas concisely.
• Strong editing skills and a track record of coaching others to raise quality.
• Must be based in New York or San Francisco for full-time on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience in accounting, finance, or fintech domains.
• Experience in both early-stage startups (Seed/Series A) and scaled environments (Series C+).
• Strong background in professional copywriting.
