Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia
Salary: $130,500 - $163,000 AUD

What you will do
- Consult with various customers to deliver tailored ad-hoc services and technical workshops.
- Advise customers on technical and industry best practices for search implementation and optimization.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure long-term account health through high-quality support.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop subject matter expertise and act as a product expert.
- Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks proactively.
- Develop and present comprehensive case status reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Must be based in Sydney, Australia
- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (CSE, SE, SA, consultant), ideally in SaaS.
- Functional knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java, PHP, C#, Ruby, Python).
- Experience with REST API, database management, and web development technologies.
- Experience delivering technical workshops, including training and code reviews.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing or optimizing search & discovery experiences.
- Experience designing and developing generative AI and agentic applications.
- Familiarity with iOS & Android platforms.
- Experience with Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce.
- Experience supporting open-source projects and GitHub communities.
