Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP)

What you will do

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services across multiple Google Cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain containerized workloads and develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows to ensure seamless delivery.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and secure systems for high-volume time-series data.
• Implement and maintain cloud networking, security controls, and Zero-Trust access management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize reliability and cost.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoW clearance with TS/SCI eligibility are mandatory.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency with containerized environments and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience operating in high-security or highly regulated cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven/Asynchronous architectures and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional certifications (Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with IoT and high-throughput time-series data processing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs, specifically DoW environments.
