What you will do

• Plan, design, and build core infrastructure systems for development and engineering teams.
• Debug critical production infrastructure issues and perform deep root-cause analysis.
• Design and operate systems with a focus on site health, reliability, and automated workload movement.
• Develop platform solutions using Go or Python to improve developer velocity.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure platform solutions meet evolving business needs.
• Promote engineering best practices and guide peers in design and coding standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Terraform in declarative service infrastructure environments.
• Production programming experience in Go or Python.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding California).
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship (H-1B, PERM).

Nice to have

• Proficiency building custom Kubernetes controllers and operators.
• Experience managing production environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with relational databases and streaming data pipelines like Pub/Sub.
