Data Center Engineer

Location: Must be located near Atlanta, GA facilities to respond within the hour (Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote options available)

What you will do

• Manage physical and logical aspects of racks, power, networking, and servers.
• Perform installation and power-up of racks, servers, and network equipment.
• Execute replacement services for modular hardware such as hard drives and power supplies.
• Provide software support including system reboots and device configuration.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving for the data center.
• Document all operational activities within the designated ticketing system.

Requirements

• Experience with IT and networking systems, including server rack and stack and fiber/copper cabling.
• Proficiency with technical tools such as PuTTY for SSH and serial console access.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues.
• Willingness to respond to off-hour emergency calls and scheduled maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift servers, work from ladders, and use hand tools.
