What you will do

• Maintain financial records for a portfolio of monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping clients.
• Determine and post journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and maintain client fixed asset schedules.
• Calculate, file, and pay monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, including year-end W2s and 1099s.
• Conduct research and execute special accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper managing end-to-end accounting functions.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or QuickBooks Online.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Professional communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and partners.
