Salary: CAD 116,000 - 160,000 per year

What you will do

• Market to producers to secure new and renewal business.
• Review submissions, loss history, and catastrophic modeling to determine risk levels.
• Price risks and develop custom policy wording for complex accounts.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and predictive analytics to improve risk selection accuracy and speed.
• Mentor junior underwriting team members and lead special projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Actuarial, Claims, and Reinsurance divisions.

Requirements

• Experience underwriting large, complex risks for multinational clients.
• Expertise in occupancies such as manufacturing, metals, real estate, and forestry.
• Ability to translate AI-generated insights and complex data sets into underwriting strategies.
• Strong established relationships with insureds and brokers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CIP, FCIP, or CRM designations are assets.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
