TL;DR

Senior Wealth Advisor (Finance): Managing and growing a dedicated portfolio of high-net-worth clients with an accent on comprehensive financial planning and investment strategy. Focus on building long-term relationships, providing personalized financial guidance, and mentoring junior advisors to drive business growth.

Location: Must have current work authorization for Canada. Role is 100% remote.

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients to understand their financial goals.
  • Create and update comprehensive financial plans using specialized software.
  • Provide regular updates on investment strategies and capital markets to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development VP to onboard new clients and manage transitions.
  • Mentor junior wealth advisors to build a development pipeline.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow client portfolios and assets.

Requirements

  • Must have current work authorization for Canada.
  • 7+ years of experience in investment management and advising high-net-worth clients.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) and meet IIROC proficiency requirements.
  • Obtained CFA, CIM, and LLQP designations.
  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of product structures, capital markets, and investment strategies.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • CFP or MBA designations.
  • Registered as a Portfolio Manager (PM).
