What you will do

• Perform set-ups and operate manual lathe machines.
• Initiate machining processes, including tool selection and setting feeds and speeds.
• Maintain production rates according to established standards.
• Operate overhead cranes as required.
• Maintain high awareness of safety procedures and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment or procedural issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Ambridge, PA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of machine shop experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and hand tools.
• Ability to work required shifts (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and weekend overtime.
