What you will do

• Perform set-ups and run parts on CNC lathes with milling capabilities to achieve close tolerances and complex geometry.
• Conduct thorough inspections of all work, adjusting gaging equipment and detecting deviant parts.
• Identify and report errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints and sketches.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a general machinist; CNC lathe experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
• Experience using measuring equipment, such as Micrometers and Dial Bore Gauges.
• Mandatory enrollment in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program for safety-sensitive work.
• Ability to work off-shifts or train on shifts other than the hired shift.
