Senior Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid (Charlestown, MA) - Must be able to work from the office at least 4 days per week

Salary: $150,000 - $173,000 a year

What you will do

• Lead the design and management of electrical systems with a focus on safety, EMC, and compliance.
• Architect power, control, and communication systems for robotic platforms.
• Develop technical requirements, specifications, and design verification plans.
• Design and debug complex embedded systems, including analog/digital circuits and power electronics.
• Create electrical drawings, schematics, and PCB layouts using Altium or equivalent tools.
• Coordinate with mechanical and software teams to execute product designs from concept to production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or related electromechanical systems.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
• Expertise in AC/DC power distribution and 3-phase industrial power (U.S. and EU standards).
• Strong background in electrical safety, control systems, and system-level design.
• Proficiency in PCB design and schematic layout.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Charlestown, MA (office presence required 4+ days/week)

• Familiarity with CAD tools such as OnShape.
