What you will do

  • Develop and administer assigned basic subcontracts in support of proposal and/or project requirements.
  • Prepare subcontract documents and bidder lists; issue Requests for Proposals and support the bidding process.
  • Coordinate bid evaluation and commercial bid tabulation with estimating, construction, engineering, and other functions.
  • Coordinate subcontract negotiation activities, including commercial negotiation positions and scheduling/coordination of negotiation meetings.
  • Coordinate award and conforming processes and ensure subcontractor compliance with prequalification requirements.
  • For assigned subcontracts: run kickoff/progress meetings, draft meeting minutes, draft correspondence, perform change management, review/process invoices, and handle closeout.

Requirements

  • Complete pre-employment onboarding requirements if selected, which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft suite.
  • Attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of construction disciplines, construction means & methods, and construction equipment.
