Procurement & Subcontract Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Brno-Medlánky, Czech Republic; home-office work possibility.

What you will do

• Establish procurement plans and research, approach, and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage timely and cost-effective procurement of satellite units, subsystems, and services.
• Lead RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, including Tender Evaluation Boards and supplier selection.
• Structure and negotiate contracts, coordinate contract changes, and monitor subcontractor performance against cost, quality, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Manage procurement risks, delivery status reporting, invoice approvals, contract deviations, waivers, and non-conformance topics.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, product assurance, quality, project controlling, and contracts teams, including export control management.

Requirements

• Completed engineering or industrial engineering studies, or an equivalent qualification.
• Fundamental engineering knowledge, especially in the space industry.
• Negotiation and project management skills, including experience managing complex development projects.
• Market and supplier knowledge, conflict resolution, moderation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proactivity, reliability, integrity, persuasiveness, decision-making ability, cooperation, and solution orientation.
• English-language application required.
