What you will do

• Lead the Electrical Engineering team and build/scale RF systems integration and test capabilities.
• Own electrical architecture across all platforms, including power, compute, sensing, and interconnects.
• Direct end-to-end RF system performance (0.9–6 GHz), including antenna selection, link budgets, and range optimization.
• Manage EMI/EMC performance, pre-compliance testing, and certification (FCC Part 15 and military standards).
• Define electrical and RF validation strategies (DVT, HALT) and establish lab and field test capabilities.
• Drive system-level trade-offs and partner with Manufacturing on DFM/DFT and production readiness.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for embedded or electromechanical systems.
• 5+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.
• Demonstrated experience bringing hardware from prototype through production.
• Strong fundamentals in power electronics, PCB design, and RF systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with tactical or mesh networking radios (e.g., Doodle Labs, Silvus).
• Background in UAS, robotics, aerospace, or defense systems.
• Expertise in antenna design, tuning, and MIMO measurements.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC certification workflows (MIL-STD, DO-160).
• Experience with high-power battery systems and BMS design.
