What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for content catalog data using Apache Spark.
• Develop efficient data processing workflows capable of handling large-scale data with optimal performance.
• Create robust APIs to securely expose data services across the platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models and algorithms into production.
• Implement monitoring and observability for data pipelines to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding data infrastructure and storage optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years specializing in data engineering.
• Extensive experience with data warehousing solutions like Vertica, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Deep expertise in big data technologies including Apache Spark and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps and machine learning pipelines.
• Background in streaming, TVOS, or e-commerce data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of entertainment catalog systems and taxonomy structures.
• Experience with recommendation systems or search technologies.
