What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Big Data solutions to power business operations.
• Design batch and streaming dataflows for large-scale, fast-moving unstructured data.
• Monitor dataflows and underlying systems to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to deliver world-class data-driven solutions.
• Maintain governance over the company's data lakehouse architecture.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Scala (Python developers willing to work on JVM are welcome).
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with distributed processing engines such as Flink or Spark.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis).
• Knowledge of Lambda and Kappa Architectures.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field.
