Location: Hybrid (Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA); must be in-office twice a week.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and evolve cloud-based systems for distributing configuration info to millions of endpoints.
• Design and implement elegant, performant solutions using Go.
• Collaborate across cloud, front-end, and endpoint teams to brainstorm and build systems.
• Perform code reviews in Go, Python, Typescript, and C++ to maintain high code quality.
• Identify root causes of production outages and implement quality improvements.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card required).
• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production back-end systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Proficiency with Go, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Experience developing and deploying within Linux containers.
• Ability to travel within the US 1-3x per year.

Nice to have

• Experience managing configuration automation for large endpoint fleets (e.g., JAMF, Microsoft Config Mgr).
• Experience building and scaling low-latency internet services.
• Background in cybersecurity and intelligence.
