What you will do
- Interact with customers via telephone, fax, and email to provide product recommendations and price quotations.
- Interpret customer requirements and technical drawings to compile bills of materials.
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, assembly, and manufacturing departments to manage customer orders.
- Ensure delivery commitments are met and take appropriate action in the event of delays.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle emergency calls.
- Maintain reference files for procedures, product lists, and special pricing.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in both English and French (written and verbal).
- 3 to 5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read detailed technical drawings and utilize measuring instruments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical Technologist/Technician College diploma or High School Diploma.
