Salary: $74,995 - $136,491

What you will do

• Develop briefing packages and conduct subject matter research for SAB and OAR meetings.
• Coordinate councils and subcommittees while supporting meeting logistics and task completion.
• Edit and distribute minutes and reports, including citations and public comment reviews.
• Support NOAA Science Advisory Board projects to ensure high-quality science program outcomes.
• Draft portfolio-specific briefing and educational materials for stakeholders.
• Design and manage tracking mechanisms for activities, publications, and metrics impacting portfolio goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field required (Bachelor’s in environmental/atmospheric/biological sciences preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a related field.
• Previous NOAA experience and strong understanding of NOAA systems and programs.
• Must be a US Citizen per contract requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience translating complex scientific information.
