What you will do

• Edit and rewrite scientific manuscripts and supplemental materials for PCD publication according to established standards.
• Collaborate with authors to clarify ideas and organize the structure of manuscripts effectively.
• Identify and correct internal inconsistencies, such as text-to-table discrepancies and mathematical errors.
• Evaluate and suggest optimizations for the use of tables and figures.
• Proof articles in HTML and edit PCD communications materials, including website updates and announcements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• 2-3 years of consecutive experience editing scientific manuscripts.
• Proficiency in Word tracking features and in-depth knowledge of eXtyles manuscript processing.
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
