Location: Remote (must be based in Europe). Specifically hiring in Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the UK.

Salary: Approximately €56,100 – €73,800 per year (depending on the country and experience).

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end documentation experience for hirify.global Hardware and Cloud.
• Plan and deliver documentation for new features and releases in sync with product cycles.
• Collaborate with engineers to research and verify technical content.
• Audit existing documentation to fill gaps and improve structure and tone.
• Define and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
• Develop API guides and integration documentation to support the developer community.

Requirements

• Strong technical writing portfolio focusing on developer or product documentation.
• Ability to read and understand Python, YAML, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of smart home hardware and basic electronics troubleshooting.
• Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown, MkDocs, or Docusaurus).
• Must be based in one of the listed European countries.
• High level of autonomy and strong stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Home Assistant or similar self-hosted open-source software.
• Experience maintaining documentation for community-driven projects.
• Experience working asynchronously in a remote-first, distributed team.
