What you will do
- Translate system requirements into robust hardware architectures.
- Design and develop instruments including power, analog, and microprocessor components.
- Perform schematic capture, simulation, and oversee physical PCB layout.
- Conduct prototype bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing and sustainment.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Masterβs preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in electronic or electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in mixed-signal design, embedded computing, and microprocessor architecture.
- Experience with miniature low-power systems, sensor integration, and wireless interfaces.
- Basic coding skills in C/C++/Assembly and FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with signal and power integrity analysis tools like Hyperlinx or Ansys.
- Experience with miniature electronic packaging and chip-scale packages.
- Background in leading engineering teams or new product development.
