Technology Strategy Director

TL;DR

Technology Strategy Director (Consulting): Performing advisory and implementation services to address business needs for the Transformation Practice with an accent on strategic technology assessments and roadmaps. Focus on aligning IT capabilities to enterprise strategy, leading application package selection, and driving complex IT transformations.

Location: Hybrid (United States). In-person attendance required at least three days per week at a GT office or client site.

Salary: $211,646 – $264,558

What you will do

• Lead strategic assessments of client technology environments against best practices and maturity frameworks.
• Develop value-add recommendations and implementation roadmaps tailored to client business needs.
• Direct application package selection, solution design, and implementation planning for mid-to-large organizations.
• Align IT capabilities to enterprise strategy, analyzing cost structures and operating models.
• Develop comprehensive business cases (financial and quantitative) to support IT transformations.
• Coach and develop team members while maintaining executive presence with senior-level audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or MIS preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience in Strategy Consulting for technology engagements.
• Expertise in IT organization assessment, package selection, and application architecture model development.
• Strong business writing and communication skills for senior-level executive interaction.
• Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid model (3 days/week in-person).
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
