What you will do

• Run the operating rhythm for major campaigns, including planning, prioritization, status reporting, and retrospectives.
• Translate fast-changing, ambiguous projects into clear workstreams, timelines, and decision points.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership, surfacing risks and tradeoffs to drive decisions under pressure.
• Build alignment and drive accountability across cross-functional partners in Product, Marketing, Policy, Legal, and Research.
• Design and improve the team's operating framework, including playbooks, crisis response protocols, and escalation paths.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in program management, communications operations, or a closely-related discipline.
• Deep understanding of how communications functions and crisis response operate in practice.
• Proven track record of leading complex, high-visibility programs in high-pressure or chaotic environments.
• Experience scaling processes within high-growth teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across diverse functions without formal authority.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.
