What you will do
- Identify and prioritize high-leverage AI opportunities to materially improve operational efficiency and revenue.
- Develop working prototypes, including internal workflow automations, reusable prompt systems, and AI-enabled assistants.
- Partner with cross-functional owners to translate business needs into technical AI implementations and validated prototypes.
- Build and test AI tools using approved APIs while adhering to strict security, legal, and data-handling guardrails.
- Document and showcase prototypes through demos and showcases to inform future company investments.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience building software, automation, or internal tooling.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool/function calling, RAG, and prompt/context engineering.
- Programming proficiency in Go and/or Python.
- Ability to integrate APIs across SaaS systems such as Slack, GitHub, and Google Workspace.
- Must be based in the United States.
- English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience building agent skills, MCP servers, or orchestration and automation frameworks.
- Track record of turning internal workflow ideas into tools that are actually adopted by teams.
- Background in internal consulting, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles.
- Active involvement in the open-source community.
- Interest in software supply chain security or responsible AI governance.
