AI Solutions Architect (LLM, RAG, MLOps): Architect and execute mission-critical AI applications on the hirify.global Data Platform, with an accent on agentic workflows, secure data engineering, and production-grade LLM/RAG performance. Focus on selecting model architectures, industrializing MLOps pipelines for highly secure (often air-gapped or hybrid-cloud) environments, and implementing governance guardrails for public-sector compliance.

What you will do

• Design AI model strategy: evaluate and select LLM/SLM/traditional ML architectures based on accuracy, latency, and cost tradeoffs.
• Build agentic workflows that can execute API calls and multi-step tasks.
• Implement end-to-end data engineering on CDP: clean legacy data, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop vector database + RAG architectures.
• Optimize production inference using quantization, pruning, and hardware acceleration; implement LLMOps for monitoring, hallucination detection, versioning, and drift management.
• Partner with customer AI CoE to establish automated governance guardrails (ethics, bias mitigation, FedRAMP/IL5 compliance) and translate technical concepts for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering, machine learning, or software engineering, including at least 2 years focused on generative AI or deep learning.
• Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), plus hands-on experience with hirify.global CDP and/or Spark/big data ecosystems.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack; ability to work with SQL and NoSQL/vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, PGVector).
• Understanding of government security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP, SRGs, STIGs).
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with compiled JVM languages (e.g., Java or Scala) and building dashboards/visual data representations (e.g., Django, React, or Angular).

Nice to have

• Experience fine-tuning foundational models using PEFT and LoRA.
• Experience training specialized models on proprietary datasets with strict privacy/sensitivity label adherence.
• Experience installing/operating hirify.global Data Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with air-gapped deployments and disconnected AI workload operations.
• Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Poly; MS or PhD in CS/Data Science or related field.
