What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for AI-powered features.
• Develop autonomous agentic systems that leverage LLMs to reason and orchestrate complex workflows.
• Architect systems for real-time AI inference, conversation state management, and tool execution.
• Deploy machine learning models to improve product features and user engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define and deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Evaluate emerging agentic frameworks and prototype new approaches to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience building applications leveraging LLMs or agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and modern frameworks like FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (Lambda, Bedrock, OpenSearch).
• Proven ability to ship and operate production-grade software systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen.
• Background in vector databases and semantic search.
• Familiarity with AI safety and guardrail patterns.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
