Lead Nurse (LPN)

What you will do

• Administer methadone per Medical Director/Clinic Physician orders and ensure medication accountability.
• Assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness and dosing suitability.
• Observe and assess patients after administration; monitor physicals and lab work.
• Collect urine specimens, file contract urines, and record results; maintain medical supply inventories.
• Receive medication shipments per DEA and company procedures; coordinate courtesy and vacation dose packages.
• Train new nurses, participate in treatment team meetings and trainings, and document/report medication discrepancies.

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment and basic medical equipment (e.g., centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers).
• Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge.
