TL;DR

Senior Conference Producer: Developing and executing high-quality agenda content for the Africa Tech Festival with an accent on market research, speaker recruitment, and industry analysis. Focus on driving event strategy, fostering relationships with senior industry leaders, and ensuring operational excellence for a market-leading B2B event.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the London office (5 Howick Place) at least three days per week.

What you will do

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends and audience needs within the African tech and telecom ecosystem.
  • Develop innovative and engaging agenda content that addresses pressing industry topics.
  • Identify and secure top-tier industry leaders and government figures as speakers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sponsorship teams to support promotional campaigns and commercial growth.
  • Provide on-site leadership and hands-on support during event execution.
  • Contribute to the overall product planning and strategic positioning of the festival.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in conference production.
  • Strong analytical research skills with a focus on detail and market insights.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work from the London office at least three days per week.
