What you will do
- Lead business development efforts to capture stormwater, flood mitigation, and coastal resilience projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across the Eastern United States to drive business growth.
- Identify and recruit professional talent to expand local execution teams and capabilities.
- Oversee the planning and design of complex water resource systems, including green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures.
- Act as a Project Manager for key initiatives, ensuring process excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with partners to integrate new technologies and approaches into client solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
- Proven experience in identifying, pursuing, and capturing municipal water resources projects.
- Ability to manage and lead teams across a significant geographic area.
- Familiarity with industry-standard modeling and asset management platforms like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or ArcGIS.
Nice to have
- 15+ years of water resources planning and design experience.
- Deep expertise in regulatory requirements and environmental permitting (USACE, FEMA).
- Experience with advanced modeling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, EFDC, or CFD.
