What you will do
- Manage and perform internal audits in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan, utilizing interviews and evidence gathering.
- Produce comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and professional recommendations.
- Coordinate end-to-end audits performed by co-sourced partners and monitor the implementation of agreed actions.
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering timely governance, risk management, and internal control reporting to Audit Committees.
- Maintain the documented audit universe and assist in drafting the annual audit plan based on strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with corporate governance, compliance, and risk management functions to ensure coordinated assurance.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in London, UK
- Clear understanding of IIA Professional Standards and modern industry approaches.
- Experience in the London insurance market, specifically with Lloyd’s syndicates, is highly preferred.
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to other IT audit tools.
- Professional accountancy or audit qualification is considered a plus.
