What you will do
- Lead end-to-end user research across consumer and provider experiences, covering families making care decisions and providers managing services and growth
- Design and run qualitative and mixed-method studies (interviews, usability testing, surveys, journey mapping, diary studies, concept validation)
- Build and maintain a research roadmap aligned with product strategy and business priorities
- Synthesize findings into actionable insights that directly shape product direction, UX design, and service improvements
- Partner cross-functionally (Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Operations) to combine qualitative insights with quantitative data
- Improve research operations (templates, participant workflows, insight repositories, reusable frameworks) and define responsible use of AI-enabled research tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in user research, UX research, product research, or mixed-methods research
- Strong expertise in qualitative research methods, including interviews, usability testing, synthesis, and insight storytelling
- Proven ability to influence product strategy and design decisions through research outcomes
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and prioritize research based on business and product impact
- Experience combining qualitative insights with behavioral analytics, experimentation, or product data
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in marketplace, healthcare, consumer decision journeys, or high-trust service environments
- Demonstrated curiosity or experience using AI tools to enhance research workflows, synthesis, or insight generation
- Strong portfolio showing research thinking, methodology, and impact on product decisions
