What you will do

• Architect and implement advanced API gateway and service mesh solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead technical workshops, deep-dive sessions, and proof-of-concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to resolve critical customer technical issues.
• Own the technical success of strategic accounts from pre-sales through post-implementation.
• Capture customer feedback to influence the product roadmap and feature development.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical account managers to foster technical excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Architect.
• Deep expertise in API lifecycle management, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong command of cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Golang, Python, Lua, or JavaScript.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across the software stack.
• Must be based in Italy and willing to travel 30-50% of the time.

• Prior experience with hirify.global Gateway or hirify.global Mesh.
• Active contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience working with customers in highly regulated industries like Finance or Healthcare.
