What you will do

• Write clean, scalable code to build integrations, APIs, and data models connecting hirify.global with customer ecosystems.
• Design and implement advanced data architectures, including vector search and RAG patterns for modern AI applications.
• Integrate directly with customer development teams to participate in sprints and code reviews, ensuring best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues, performance bottlenecks, and deployment hurdles as an embedded partner.
• Act as a conduit between field requirements and internal product/engineering teams to advocate for features and fixes.
• Partner with solution engineers to identify expansion opportunities by demonstrating technical possibilities within existing accounts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Technical Consulting.
• Strong proficiency in at least two major languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or C#).
• Deep understanding of NoSQL concepts, distributed systems, and SQL-based query languages.
• Experience navigating cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and networking.
• Proven track record of deploying large-scale distributed databases or data-intensive applications.
