Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

Salary: CAD $110,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for digital banking initiatives, ensuring alignment with member needs and business goals.
• Design responsive web and mobile experiences for onboarding, authentication, payments, and dashboards.
• Work within vendor platform design systems such as Backbase, Temenos, VeriPark, Forge, or Intellect.
• Translate complex business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to evaluate configuration versus bespoke solution options.
• Create and maintain reusable UI components to evolve scalable design systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• 3+ years of specialized experience in digital banking environments.
• Hands-on experience with digital banking platforms (e.g., Backbase, Temenos, VeriPark, Intellect Design).
• Strong understanding of regulated industry constraints and digital banking journeys.
• University degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience working specifically with credit unions or community banking environments.
