What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of ~20 engineers across Electrical, EEE Component, FPGA, and Packaging disciplines.
• Manage personal development, performance reviews, and career growth for direct reports.
• Assign and monitor projects to ensure completion within technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement in design and development processes.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Facilitate design reviews to validate adherence to internal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience designing circuit cards, electronic enclosures, or working with FPGAs.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (currently holding one is preferred).
• Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and professional communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Elma/Buffalo, NY (remote candidates will not be considered).
