Location: Must be based in Munich, Germany (Hybrid: 60% onsite / 40% home office).

Salary: €61,800–€92,600 EUR.

What you will do

  • Define and execute annual category strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and commercial performance for key product categories.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and optimize pricing and promotional plans to maintain competitiveness.
  • Optimize category merchandising and customer journeys to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Vendor Management, and Shop Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Munich, Germany for hybrid work.
  • Fluent English and German (minimum B1 level) required.
  • Several years of experience in Category Management, Buying, or Commercial Management.
  • Proven track record of driving category growth and profitability in e-commerce or retail.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • AI-native mindset with experience embedding AI into daily workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience in international or matrix organizations.
  • Knowledge of digital merchandising and conversion optimization.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing.
