Associate Electrical Engineer / Electronic Design Engineer

Salary: $75,000–$105,000 annually

What you will do

• Design analog and high-speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to define product requirements and deliver technical presentations.
• Use modeling and simulation tools to evaluate circuits and interfaces and reduce design risks.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results in clear technical reports.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and board bring-up using laboratory instrumentation.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Phoenix, Arizona is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of processors, digital logic, analog circuits, and basic power circuits.
• Knowledge of board design, interface requirements, schematic creation, and digital simulation.
• Experience using DMMs and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and board bring-up.
• Strong communication, technical documentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Knowledge of space-grade electronics design and development.
• VHDL or Verilog coding experience for space applications.
• Experience with signal integrity analysis tools, PSPICE, Mathcad, and related design tools.
