What you will do
- Lead the design and delivery of complex aerial and underground OSP fiber network projects including route analysis and feasibility assessments.
- Oversee end-to-end fiber design production, including splice documentation, BOMs, and construction drawings.
- Perform final QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate permitting and design requirements with municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior OSP designers to support skill development.
- Serve as a senior technical point of contact for clients to resolve complex design challenges.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in OSP fiber design and large-scale network projects.
- Strong expertise in fiber network engineering, including FTTH, aerial/underground design, and splice architecture.
- Proven proficiency with GIS and CAD-based design tools and database-driven engineering environments.
- Experience with utility coordination, permitting processes, and multi-stakeholder infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
