Field Technology Specialist (Telecom and Computer Hardware)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, USA; approximately 85% travel required

What you will do

• Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region.
• Install, update, repair, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Work with computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools and advanced electrical theory.
• Calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to precise specifications.
• Maintain accurate asset accountability and detailed maintenance records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with computers, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, electronics, and telecommunications systems.
• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, hardware, software applications, and equipment repair.
• Ability to use, repair, and maintain various machines and tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances.
• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel approximately 85% of the time.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
