What you will do

• Assess building designs against the National Construction Code (NCC) and Building Code of Australia (BCA) for various classifications.
• Liaise with clients to prepare NCC/BCA compliance reports.
• Collaborate with clients to upgrade fire safety measures.
• Conduct site visits to monitor the progression and completion of large-scale projects.
• Prepare "Performance Solution" design reports for non-fire performance solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior building surveyors.

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying or a similar stream.
• Current Registration as an Unrestricted Building Surveyor.
• Deep knowledge of the BCA performance requirements.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
