What you will do

• Develop hardware architectures and product roadmaps for existing, new, or evolving systems.
• Design and document electrical/electronic solutions aligned with customer and program requirements.
• Lead the selection, integration, and testing of procured specialist hardware and equipment.
• Manage hardware product structures within ERP/PLM environments to ensure data quality for procurement.
• Act as a technical leader, providing mentoring and coaching to hardware engineers.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering processes, quality management systems, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience developing new hardware solutions from concept to delivery.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for NV1 security clearance.
• Ability to access ITAR-restricted information.
• Experience using ERP/PLM systems to manage engineering data.
• Eligibility for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ registration.

Nice to have

• Extensive cross-discipline hardware engineering experience.
• Knowledge of configuration management principles and tools.
