What you will do

• Deliver highway design including civil arrangements, geometric design (roads, cycleways, footpaths), signage, and safety barriers.
• Produce high-quality drawings and models following RPDM, AustRoads, and client standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to design team members on digital tools and workflows.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate and federate design inputs across projects.
• Manage deliverables under limited supervision to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize BIM and digital engineering tools to enhance design coordination and project delivery.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in highway or road infrastructure drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related field.
• Understanding of highway geometry, road design principles, and drafting standards (e.g., AustRoads, Main Roads WA).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
• Required to attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an hirify.global office location.

Nice to have

• Experience with MicroStation or OpenRoads.
• Exposure to BIM, 12D, or construction documentation.
