TL;DR

Sr. Analyst, Media Analytics & Attribution (Data Analytics): Managing and optimizing media attribution models (MTA) to drive data-driven media decisions for NBCU brands with an accent on technical data science and actionable reporting. Focus on deploying cutting-edge attribution techniques, conducting deep-dive exploratory analyses, and connecting stakeholders with actionable data insights.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York (minimum 3 days in office, increasing to 4 days from January 5, 2026)

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Manage and maintain critical attribution models, including MTA and other proprietary techniques to drive media decisions.
  • Upkeep and upgrade existing media attribution tools and datasets to improve reporting and decision-making.
  • Conduct deep-dive exploratory analyses to identify trends and key drivers for strategic decision-making for NBCU and Peacock.
  • Produce executive reporting that links data trends to KPIs such as media ROI and platform engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, data science, and data engineering teams to enhance optimization capabilities.
  • Triangulate measurement efforts across different systems, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and experiments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or another STEM field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics-centered role (media analytics preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one OOP language (Python or R preferred).
  • Strong grasp of Machine Learning concepts such as Regression, Classification, and Clustering.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization software.
  • Ability to work from the New York office on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

  • Experience building and maintaining models using big data.
  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution (MTA), media mix modeling (MMM), or customer journey analytics.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build consensus in a highly matrixed environment.
